We used to be The Rotary Club of McCandless but we changed our name a few years ago to better reflect our location within Allegheny County. Our club has a strong history of excellent community service, outstanding charitable giving and is a great place for community service oriented individuals to work together to do the works of Rotary.
Our purpose is to serve the local community through various charitable means. In so doing, we have various annual events such as our Wine Tasting Dinner and Spring Fling Dinner. Our members participate in a lot of fun activities as well, such as Bingo each month at the Vincentian Home in the North Hills where our members assist shut-ins who like to play bingo as a means of social activity. We also lend a hand each Thanksgiving with preparing and feeding literally hundreds of people each Thanksgiving Day.
